Getting around: A bus from Tirana ~3 hours (500–600 lek/~$7). Public transport options within the area itself are limited — exploring nearby Tushemisht village (5km) or the Lin peninsula (20km) is easier with a rental car or an hourly taxi.

Halal & prayer places: Honestly limited — a small lake town with no dedicated declared-halal infrastructure, though simple grilled koran fish (the local lake trout) is available at nearly every wooden-jetty restaurant over the water and is an intuitively safe choice. There's no known major mosque in the center, and formal halal certification doesn't exist in Albania to begin with.
